Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Catarino Simões started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Gizmokiller were awarded a corner. Ian Vassenius went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jacinto Anjos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Virgílio Passos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Valter Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Donim's protests and gave Valter Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Donim's Valter Vieira got a free kick in the 9th minute. Catarino Simões struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Virgílio Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gizmokiller. Virgílio Passos was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Catarino Simões capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Catarino Simões really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Afonso Faria elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Catarino Simões made a precise shot to the right of Virgílio Passos. SC Donim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Catarino Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 played minutes SC Donim got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Onofre. Virgílio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Vassenius in the 36th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Gizmokiller's Catarino Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgílio Passos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Virgílio Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, SC Donim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Catarino Simões in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgílio Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgílio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Faria in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Afonso Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgílio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Simões in the 65th minute of play. Afonso Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Virgílio Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Passos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Catarino Simões's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Virgílio Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Simões in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Donim booed when Gizmokiller was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Afonso Faria came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Gizmokiller fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Faria couldn't finish the play. Virgílio Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Gizmokiller walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
