After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Alexandre Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serafim sport clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Vilalobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vilalobos having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Donai's Elias Coelho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elias Coelho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. In the 93rd match minute, Serafim sport clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense.
