A collision led to SC Boieira getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bruno Leite hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Duarte Aveiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Boieira's Alexandre Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Macedo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Moita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Guilherme Moita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashen Verdict's goalkeeper Guilherme Moita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Afonso Macedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. SC Boieira's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Afonso Macedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guilherme Moita. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Afonso Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Guilherme Moita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Aveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Guilherme Moita made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Bulhosa was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Afonso Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Boieira's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Moita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Boieira's Alberto Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Chagas during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Ashen Verdict was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Chagas to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Alberto Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Moita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Boieira getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pedro Tavares hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ashen Verdict's Rogério Gameiro got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Bruno Leite shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guilherme Moita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Oliveira Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Afonso Macedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Moita was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
