Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rui Amaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, SC Chapa's David Caeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rui Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Isidro Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Pedro Prates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delfim Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Rocha having to interfere. Super Dragões's Leandro Saraiva pulled a muscle in his back after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rodolfo Gaspar's late challenge caught a Super Dragões's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Rodolfo Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Branco in the 22nd minute of the match. Jorge Júdice hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Avelino Palha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Rocha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Super Dragões's Baltasar Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Branco in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Delfim Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Chapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, SC Chapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avelino Palha to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Barroso struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Isidro Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Dragões. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Rui Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Super Dragões's protests and gave Rui Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Rui Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Delfim Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Normando Palma charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Normando Palma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isidoro Barroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
