The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Gaspar Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Afonso Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Plácido Figueiras. Oyonnax PVFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 31 played minutes Oyonnax PVFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Quinaz. Gaspar Pinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Plácido Figueiras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Pinto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Afonso Lima had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Salvado during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Oyonnax PVFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Salvado to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Pinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, All blacks FC's Gaspar Pinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Plácido Figueiras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Oyonnax PVFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Oliveira came free, but Plácido Figueiras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, All blacks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Soares to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Gaspar Pinto made a precise shot to the right of Plácido Figueiras. Oyonnax PVFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Plácido Figueiras came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by All blacks FC's Gaspar Pinto. But to his dismay, Gaspar Pinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Patrício Gentil kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Lucas Câmara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Silva having to interfere. Lucas Câmara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lucas Câmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Patrício Gentil fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oyonnax PVFC's protests and gave Patrício Gentil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, Oyonnax PVFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrício Gentil to maneuver through the defense. After 98 played minutes, All blacks FC's Jorge Amorim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Plácido Figueiras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in All blacks FC reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oyonnax PVFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for All blacks FC.
