When Sport Lisboa e Olivais's Luciano Iruinea, in the 4th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sport Lisboa e Olivais. In the 8th minute, Fernando Bessa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luciano Iruinea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, André Póvoas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mário Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luz having to interfere. Jaroslav Vavřín struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. André Póvoas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Lisboa e Olivais. After 17 minutes of play, Sport Lisboa e Olivais's Fernando Bessa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Póvoas was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Póvoas was a little too slow when Jaroslav Vavřín got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 26th match minute, Vais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Casado to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Luciano Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Póvoas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Póvoas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Bessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Luciano Iruinea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. André Póvoas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Póvoas made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Luciano Iruinea sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Fernando Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Póvoas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vais FC's zone, Jaroslav Vavřín stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Póvoas came out of the goal and Jaroslav Vavřín tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the game, Fernando Bessa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of André Póvoas. Fernando Bessa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0.

58 minutes into the match, Marco Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Póvoas. Vais FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Sport Lisboa e Olivais's Bruno Setúbal was substituted for Marco Marques. André Póvoas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Iruinea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Iruinea took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Póvoas. André Póvoas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. André Póvoas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The Sport Lisboa e Olivais fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Sport Lisboa e Olivais's Fernando Bessa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sport Lisboa e Olivais's David Setúbal was substituted for Fernando Bessa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Iruinea in the 74th minute of play forced Vais FC's goalkeeper André Póvoas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Póvoas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Setúbal went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. André Póvoas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Mário Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Sport Lisboa e Olivais players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
