Jacinto Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Carlos Boaventura took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rodrigo Melo to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Leca FC booed when Mondinense sport clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Tiago Vilhena fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodrigo Melo, passed just outside the right post. Tiago Vilhena struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rodrigo Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leca FC. In the 27th minute, Plácido Ramires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Estrada in the 32nd minute of play forced Leca FC's goalkeeper Rúben Vilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Leca FC's Tiago Vilhena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Carlos Boaventura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Boaventura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mondinense sport clube's Rodrigo Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Boaventura in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Carlos Boaventura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mondinense sport clube's Rodrigo Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mondinense sport clube's zone, Carlos Boaventura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Melo came out of the goal and Carlos Boaventura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Mondinense sport clube's Rodrigo Melo got control of the ball when Tomé Taveira tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Boaventura made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Carlos Boaventura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tomé Taveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Rodrigo Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Leca FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Leca FC's Carlos Boaventura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tiago Vilhena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rodrigo Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Mondinense sport clube got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Montenegro. In the 84th match minute, Leca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Mourato to maneuver through the defense. Mondinense sport clube's Rodrigo Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Boaventura in the 86th minute of play. Carlos Boaventura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Cassiano Conde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Leca FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
