Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) SC Montaria's Paulo Mota started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl-Magnus Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Sobral having to interfere. Cesário Sobral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Paulo Mota came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the SC Montaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Mota couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, pintos desorientados fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Mota fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 17th minute, Fabrício Caneira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waclaw Japola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, SC Montaria's Romão Castanheira got a free kick in the 20th minute. Basílio Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cesário Sobral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Fragoso charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Fragoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes SC Montaria got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Fragoso. If Karl-Magnus Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesário Sobral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Lundström in the 30th minute of play. If Karl-Magnus Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, pintos desorientados fc's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Mota came free, but Waclaw Japola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Karl-Magnus Lundström came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the pintos desorientados fc fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Karl-Magnus Lundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesário Sobral was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 44th match minute, pintos desorientados fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Cesário Sobral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Setúbal in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Magnus Lundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SC Montaria's goalkeeper Cesário Sobral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Magnus Lundström. Cesário Sobral made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Karl-Magnus Lundström sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Magnus Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. In the 79th minute, Romão Castanheira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Magnus Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Montaria's Cesário Sobral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Montaria from getting a goal against them. Karl-Magnus Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Sobral having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, one of SC Montaria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave pintos desorientados fc a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karl-Magnus Lundström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Montaria's Cesário Sobral. 1-1. With a little luck, SC Montaria's Cesário Sobral got control of the ball when Karl-Magnus Lundström tried to sneak it across the goal line. pintos desorientados fc were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
