F.C. PORTO's Mariano Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Garcia in the 6th minute of play. After 7 played minutes SC Padronita got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Loureiro. After 10 played minutes SC Padronita got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Balsemão. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Raul Cabral put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Ferreira. Bernardo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bernardo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Raul Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raul Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the F.C. PORTO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Cabral couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Raul Cabral made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Ferreira. SC Padronita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Cabral in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Cabral went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The SC Padronita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C. PORTO were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Raul Cabral made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Raul Cabral fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernardo Ferreira having to interfere. David Vaz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Ferreira. Bernardo Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Padronita's goalkeeper Bernardo Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raul Cabral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Ferreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SC Padronita's zone, David Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Ferreira came out of the goal and David Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Cabral got free with Bernardo Ferreira in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C. PORTO's Raul Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Raul Cabral sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the game, Raul Cabral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Ferreira. Raul Cabral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7.
