In the 16th minute Diamantino Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Miguéis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Viriato Vieira made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Miguéis. paços de ferreira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Viriato Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viriato Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pedro Miguéis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Bessa couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, paços de ferreira's Horácio Modesto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Moutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Bessa during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Guerreiro getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. João Bessa hit a great ball. Alexandre Mendes fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 39th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the last second Pedro Miguéis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Viriato Vieira in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of SC Guerreiro booed when paços de ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Modesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viriato Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Pedro Miguéis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Vieira in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Miguéis saved paços de ferreira from getting behind. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind paços de ferreira's goalkeeper Pedro Miguéis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Diamantino Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Miguéis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Vieira struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Miguéis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Guerreiro. When the referee ended the match the SC Guerreiro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
