Frederico Ponte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tiago Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Santarém in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Emanuel Lisboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renato Bernardes. SC Arronches's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Lisboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Atletico Cabeceirense's Lúcio Amaral seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lúcio Amaral the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atletico Cabeceirense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lúcio Amaral had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 15 played minutes Atletico Cabeceirense got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Amaral. After 17 played minutes Atletico Cabeceirense got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Simões. In the 17th minute of the match Máximo Brás sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiago Porto skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Arronches's zone, Amadeu Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Bernardes came out of the goal and Amadeu Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Gueifão during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Atletico Cabeceirense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Atletico Cabeceirense getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Francisco Aguilera hit a great ball. Lourenço Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Amadeu Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amadeu Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Atletico Cabeceirense's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Santarém came free, but Tiago Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. The supporters of Atletico Cabeceirense booed when SC Arronches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico Cabeceirense's Tiago Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Santarém in the 68th minute of play. Tiago Porto came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Arronches's Filipe Santarém. But to his dismay, Filipe Santarém quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sandro Cruz hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Francisco Aguilera suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 76 minutes into the game, Filipe Santarém was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Arronches's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Cabeceirense the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Arronches's Filipe Santarém got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute, Amadeu Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renato Bernardes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Tiago Porto came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Arronches's Amílcar Brochado. But to his dismay, Amílcar Brochado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. SC Arronches were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico Cabeceirense for a fine match.
