Isidro Brochado hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lamacais's zone, Álvaro Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Lucena came out of the goal and Álvaro Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Álvaro Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Lucena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Álvaro Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Lucena was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Álvaro Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Salvador Lucena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clarines. Telmo Brites didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Clarines's Álvaro Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Lucena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Salvador Lucena came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Clarines's Álvaro Aguiar. But to his dismay, Álvaro Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Álvaro Aguiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Lucena having to make a save. In the 88th minute, João Rodrigues reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salvador Lucena. The goal made the score 0-3. 92 minutes into the game, Alexandre Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Lamacais fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clarines were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
