When Maurício Corte-Real came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the SC Quimbres fans jumped to their feet. In the 70th minute, Maurício Corte-Real reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Delfim Vital. The goal made the score 0-5. With a little luck, FC Cerveja fresquinha's Delfim Vital got control of the ball when Carlos Gouveia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Carlos Gouveia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Quimbres's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Gouveia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Vital breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC Cerveja fresquinha booed when SC Quimbres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Aldo Lameirinhas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Ventura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
