Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Gatoes FC's Di Bin Ao started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Di Bin Ao did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Eusébio Paredes 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Di Bin Ao fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Azevedo in the 14th minute of play forced Gatoes FC's goalkeeper Catarino Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Di Bin Ao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gatoes FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Gatoes FC's Di Bin Ao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Boinheira FC's Eusébio Paredes got control of the ball when Di Bin Ao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boinheira FC's Eusébio Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Di Bin Ao in the 29th minute of play. Eusébio Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Bin Ao in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Joaquim Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Di Bin Ao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Paredes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Eusébio Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Bin Ao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Bin Ao, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Mota during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cândido Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Di Bin Ao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gatoes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Di Bin Ao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Catarino Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albertino Azevedo in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boinheira FC's zone, Adolfo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Paredes came out of the goal and Adolfo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Vale in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boinheira FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tomás Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Di Bin Ao made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Paredes. Boinheira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 80th match minute, Gatoes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Neves to maneuver through the defense. Gatoes FC made a substitution. Fernando Paiva replaced Adolfo Vale. Eusébio Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Bin Ao in the 83rd minute of play. Lucas Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Boinheira FC's Cândido Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gatoes FC's Humberto Amaral got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Gatoes FC's goalkeeper Catarino Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albertino Azevedo. Boinheira FC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Gatoes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacinto Araújo took the corner. The corner ended in Jacinto Araújo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gatoes FC's Catarino Barbosa did a great save. When the referee ended the match the Gatoes FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
