Spectators: 7106 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 20) Black Scorpions's Cândido Azevedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Black Scorpions's Teófilo Infante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Black Scorpions from getting a goal against them. Eusébio Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Black Scorpions's goalkeeper Teófilo Infante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Luz. In the 13th minute, Paulo Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teófilo Infante was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, RDA Algueirao's Joaquim Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teófilo Infante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Black Scorpions's Teófilo Infante got control of the ball when Manuel Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ingmar Haglund sped through Black Scorpions's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teófilo Infante. Cândido Azevedo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Fonseca. Eusébio Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Brito in the 33rd minute of play forced Black Scorpions's goalkeeper Teófilo Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Vilarinho's late challenge caught a RDA Algueirao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederico Vilarinho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RDA Algueirao booed when Black Scorpions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Vilarinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Black Scorpions's Teófilo Infante got control of the ball when Paulo Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teófilo Infante was a little too slow when Manuel Luz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 44th minute of the match Paulo Brito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teófilo Infante skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When Abílio Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Scorpions's protests and gave Abílio Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Black Scorpions got a freekick which was hit by Abílio Marinho. After 56 played minutes, RDA Algueirao's Paulo Brito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teófilo Infante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RDA Algueirao reached it. Ingmar Haglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teófilo Infante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingmar Haglund ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Black Scorpions's Frederico Vilarinho got a free kick in the 57th minute. Valter Sales kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Valter Sales's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eusébio Fonseca firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingmar Haglund in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teófilo Infante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teófilo Infante didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when RDA Algueirao's Ingmar Haglund shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Paulo Brito hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The long shot by Delfim Fiúza in the 73rd minute really tested Eusébio Fonseca's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 75th minute, Abílio Marinho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eusébio Fonseca. The goal made the score 4-2. 79 minutes into the game, RDA Algueirao's José Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teófilo Infante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 82 minutes into the match, Ingmar Haglund notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Black Scorpions's Teófilo Infante. Teófilo Infante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandre Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Teófilo Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingmar Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. There was no doubt that RDA Algueirao were the better team. RDA Algueirao's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
