Spectators: 7146 (Terracing: 5361, Seating: 1643, VIP seats: 142) SC Sobredo's Raimundo Azeredo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sobredo's zone, Delfim Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Macedo came out of the goal and Delfim Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Azeredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Azeredo in the 11th minute of play. Cassiano Carreira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Raimundo Azeredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aprígio Abreu in the 25th minute of play forced Lemenhe FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raimundo Azeredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Raimundo Azeredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Raimundo Azeredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lemenhe FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Altino Mota hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes SC Sobredo got a freekick which was hit by Octávio Travassos. Raimundo Azeredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Emanuel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aprígio Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Pacheco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aprígio Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Alves. Lemenhe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 58 minutes Lemenhe FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alípio Nogueira who took care of the corner kick. SC Sobredo's Cassiano Carreira got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Raimundo Azeredo in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Raimundo Azeredo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Emanuel Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sobredo. After 72 played minutes Lemenhe FC got a freekick which was hit by Plácido Calçada. Raimundo Azeredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quintino Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quintino Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Azeredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Azeredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. SC Sobredo played a much better game than Lemenhe FC and deserved their victory. The Lemenhe FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
