Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gil Borges got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube do Porto's Filipe Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Assis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 6 minutes of play, Futebol Clube do Porto's Carlos Guerreiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Assis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Moreira during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Moreira hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Filipe Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Borges took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Azevedo. Fábio Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Emanuel Assis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Diamantino Garcia. Fábio Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Futebol Clube do Porto's Fábio Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Moreira in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Futebol Clube do Porto defense, Gil Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fábio Azevedo. The Futebol Clube do Porto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fábio Azevedo should have stopped the shot. After 32 minutes, Filipe Vaz made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Lourencos's Emanuel Assis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Guerreiro succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Vaz in the 40th minute of play forced SC Lourencos's goalkeeper Emanuel Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Diamantino Garcia from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Emanuel Assis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 47 minutes, Carlos Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futebol Clube do Porto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Vaz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, SC Lourencos's Inácio Correia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fábio Azevedo. Fábio Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. A sloppy throw-in by Sérgio Garcia in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Futebol Clube do Porto's Cláudio Barbosa. Futebol Clube do Porto's Carlos Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Assis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe Vaz's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Filipe Vaz made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Assis. SC Lourencos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. José Moutinho hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SC Lourencos defense, Carlos Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Assis. The SC Lourencos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Assis should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lourencos's zone, Carlos Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Assis came out of the goal and Carlos Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Cláudio Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futebol Clube do Porto and the SC Lourencos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Futebol Clube do Porto got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Barbosa. Fábio Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Afonso Matos sent off a good shot on target. The Futebol Clube do Porto fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Futebol Clube do Porto's Carlos Guerreiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Filipe Vaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Assis was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-3.
