After having played for 4 minutes, Vítor Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. os tugas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvério Trigueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Andrade in the 7th minute of play. Silvério Trigueiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duarte Andrade went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Silvério Trigueiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duarte Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Afonso Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Silvério Trigueiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Lima in the 26th minute of play forced Medroa FC's goalkeeper Silvério Trigueiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match os tugas got a corner. Medroa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardo Lima ran over to the corner to take the kick. os tugas's Bernardo Lima was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvério Trigueiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abílio Caetano made a kick off. Duarte Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Trigueiro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Andrade in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvério Trigueiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 63 in the game by Duarte Andrade from a close distance when the talented Silvério Trigueiro managed to make a qualified save. Medroa FC's players were relieved. When os tugas's Duarte Andrade in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Medroa FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Andrade in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvério Trigueiro saved Medroa FC from getting behind. When os tugas's Duarte Andrade in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Medroa FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, José Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. os tugas's supporters rose to their feet, but José Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvério Trigueiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zarco Torcato hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Silvério Trigueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carvalho in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abílio Caetano during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Medroa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abílio Caetano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Duarte Andrade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Medroa FC's zone, Duarte Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvério Trigueiro came out of the goal and Duarte Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Abílio Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
