The goalkeeper, Porfírio Gaspar, was totally fooled by Gaifar FC's Lourenço Gomes, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Isidro lacerda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Barros was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Octávio Lencastre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Óscar Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
