Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mário Barbosa got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Selores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Mário Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Xavier Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Xavier Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Freitas's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Jorge Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Teixeira having to interfere. Xavier Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Borba in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Abel Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Broeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
