Artur Avelar might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Palha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Avelar ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Valdeira FC defense, Dércio Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Palha. The Valdeira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Palha should have stopped the shot. Celso Palha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dércio Barbosa in the 28th minute of the match. Artur Avelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Palha having to interfere. Celso Palha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dércio Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Celso Palha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Avelar in the 31st minute of play. Dércio Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Celso Palha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Palha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dércio Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Dércio Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Avelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Celso Palha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Palha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Avelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Artur Avelar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdeira FC's Celso Palha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loucas FC's Artur Avelar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Dércio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Valdeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Avelar came free, but Celso Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Celso Palha, was totally fooled by Loucas FC's Joaquim Padilha, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 94 minutes into the match, Artur Avelar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Palha, 0-6. Artur Avelar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 100thth minute, Celso Palha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
