Ceira's Bento Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ceira from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that David Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino Henriques was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Paulo Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Adelino Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Real Colchoneros FC got a freekick which was hit by Alípio Madruga. Adelino Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Leite in the 15th minute of play. Real Colchoneros FC's Olavo Caneira got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bento Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Caneira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alípio Madruga's late challenge caught a Ceira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alípio Madruga helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Real Colchoneros FC got a freekick which was hit by Alípio Madruga. 28 minutes into the game, one of Ceira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 37 minutes, Hamilton Jordão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Colchoneros FC and the Ceira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Hamilton Jordão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Ceira's Mariano Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Adelino Henriques despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bento Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Caneira, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If David Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Leite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ceira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Paulo Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Henriques having to interfere. A collision led to Real Colchoneros FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Hamilton Jordão hit a great ball. Adelino Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Leite in the 67th minute of play. Nuno Baião struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Bento Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Colchoneros FC. After a defensive mix-up in Ceira's zone, Nuno Baião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Amaro came out of the goal and Nuno Baião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olavo Caneira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bento Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If David Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Colchoneros FC's goalkeeper Adelino Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adelino Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
