After 43 played minutes, 21CM.F.C's Jimmy Presthus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cândido Trindade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 21CM.F.C reached it. 45 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Barroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 21CM.F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SCP Montijo the free kick. Vasco Quirino hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. A long shot from Manuel Torres in the 48th minute of play was well struck, but Timmy Söderlund made a really good save at the right post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 21CM.F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
