An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Fonseca in the 9th minute of play forced Bocoio's goalkeeper Lúcio Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Mário Leiria took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aloísio Aleixo to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Leiria in the 24th minute of play forced SC Pilar's goalkeeper Aloísio Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Leirias short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Aloísio Aleixo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 30 minutes into the match, SC Pilar's Germano Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Cristiano Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Aloísio Aleixo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Baptista during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Bocoio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Baptista to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Luisinho Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Leiria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Paulo Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pilar and the Bocoio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Paulo Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Catarino Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Aleixo having to interfere. Bernardo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aloísio Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Aleixo having to interfere. Mário Leiria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloísio Aleixo having to make a save. In the 68th match minute, Bocoio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Jerónimo Luz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lúcio Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lúcio Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Fonseca in the 70th minute of the match. When Catarino Lima came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Bocoio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Lima couldn't finish the play. Aloísio Aleixo came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Bocoio's Catarino Lima. But to his dismay, Catarino Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gonçalo Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Humberto Baptista scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Aleixo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Bocoio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
