Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Arranhadouro FC's Álvaro Damásio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Álvaro Damásio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Almeida having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Mário Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mário Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Lages. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mário Leiria ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mário Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Lages didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário Leiria got free with João Lages in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Lages came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Bocoio's Mário Leiria. But to his dismay, Mário Leiria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lúcio Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesário Quinaz in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Bocoio's Cristiano Pires ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Lages. João Lages yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Vítor Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but João Lages made a huge save. Mário Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Gaspar Gueifão in the 42nd minute really tested João Lages's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arranhadouro FC's João Lages played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Leal in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Humberto Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mário Leiria made a kick off. João Lages came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bocoio's Humberto Baptista. But to his dismay, Humberto Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 57th match minute, Arranhadouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octávio Gama to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Humberto Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bocoio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Catarino Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Lages having to interfere. Bocoio's Lúcio Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Damásio in the 68th minute of play. Mário Leiria scored 6-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Lages, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Leiria in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Lages prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Lages took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Octávio Gama made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Almeida. Bocoio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. There was no doubt that Bocoio were the better team. Bocoio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
