Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hugo Trindade got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, TNT's goalkeeper Augusto Junqueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viliam Oplutil. TNT's Amado Camacho got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Neto during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TNT getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vicente Neto hit a great ball. Viliam Oplutil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viliam Oplutil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cândido Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes, Filipe Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Gomide and the TNT players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filipe Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, TNT's Lisandro Luz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonçalo Valente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TNT reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Domingues got free with Augusto Junqueira in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Vicente Neto in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Gomide's Rogério Paiva. SC Gomide's Gaspar Neves shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Augusto Junqueira but with some difficulty. Júlio Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gonçalo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, SC Gomide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Domingues to maneuver through the defense. If Viliam Oplutil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Gomide's Hugo Trindade in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TNT's goalie prevented a goal. When Vítor Quental fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TNT's protests and gave Vítor Quental a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Gomide booed when TNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Quental didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Montenegro made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Amado Camacho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TNT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 60th minute, Cândido Assunção got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Junqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Trindade in the 62nd minute of play. Viliam Oplutil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Junqueira having to make a save. After 66 played minutes, SC Gomide's Humberto Paiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augusto Junqueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Gomide reached it. Hugo Trindade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Junqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Gonçalo Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Cortez in the 78th minute. TNT's Augusto Junqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Trindade in the 82nd minute of play. Viliam Oplutil struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Augusto Junqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gomide. In the 85th minute Hugo Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Junqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Junqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viliam Oplutil during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TNT booed when SC Gomide was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viliam Oplutil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Junqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Trindade in the 93rd minute of play. Gonçalo Valente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Camacho went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. TNT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
