Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Albertino Teixeira kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Gouveia in the 4th minute of play forced SC Seixal's goalkeeper Luís Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Roberto Gouveia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Ribeiro was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Matias Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Teixeira in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pipa's zone, Duarte Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Saraiva came out of the goal and Duarte Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sandro Cavaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Roberto Gouveia made the kick off in the second half. Matias Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With his leg Luís Ribeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when SC Pipa's Israel Benevides fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Águas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luís Ribeiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of SC Pipa booed when SC Seixal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Gouveia's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Luís Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Gouveia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Benevides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute Roberto Gouveia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Albertino Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the SC Seixal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertino Teixeira couldn't finish the play. SC Pipa's Matias Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Teixeira in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pipa's zone, Albertino Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Saraiva came out of the goal and Albertino Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Duarte Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Saraiva having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pipa's goalkeeper Matias Saraiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Seixal had won after a very even match.
