An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Domingos in the 29th minute of play forced Logocem's goalkeeper Amável Vilhena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Logocem's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Cesário came free, but Amável Vilhena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isidoro Domingos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Cesário couldn't finish the play. Igor Bandeira kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Edgar Quaresma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Veríssimo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Piporitus United's Amável Vilhena threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Domingos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
