Danilo Gois's late challenge caught a Sarzedinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Gois helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Sarzedinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nuno Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Sarzedinha's Mariano Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Sarzedinha from getting a goal against them. Marco Caldas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Valente in the 24th minute of play. Mariano Almeida didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Seda FC's Sebastião Cunha shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 31 minutes into the game, Vasco Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarzedinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seda FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sarzedinha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Mariano Almeida had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Pedro Ferraz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Mariano Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Ferraz went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sebastião Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Mariano Almeida made a huge save. António Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germano Estrada to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, António Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marco Caldas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Almeida having to interfere. When Danilo Gois was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. A collision led to Seda FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Danilo Gois hit a great ball. Sarzedinha's Fernando Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emanuel Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Caldas having to interfere. Saúl Seixas kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Valente got free with Marco Caldas in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Barbosa in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Caldas saved Seda FC from getting behind. Seda FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
