The supporters of FC BeetWinner booed when AVC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Monteiro in the 9th minute of play forced AVC FC's goalkeeper Jaromilo Rovisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Domeracki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Dennis Di Berardino might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaromilo Rovisco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Di Berardino ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ricardo Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AVC FC's protests and gave Ricardo Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Jerzy Domeracki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC BeetWinner's Jerzy Domeracki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Amaro in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Gabriel Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Daniel Viana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerzy Domeracki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Alfredo Amaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BeetWinner's Jerzy Domeracki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, AVC FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Monteiro came free, but Jaromilo Rovisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, FC BeetWinner's goalkeeper Jerzy Domeracki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Fonseca. With a little luck, FC BeetWinner's Jerzy Domeracki got control of the ball when Ricardo Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Amaro to make the kick off. Hans Browald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54thth minute of the game Ricardo Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BeetWinner's Jerzy Domeracki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerzy Domeracki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Fonseca in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Rolando Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Marco Lisboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BeetWinner's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AVC FC the free kick. Marco Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Alfredo Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Domeracki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of FC BeetWinner's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC BeetWinner may have spent more time on the ball, but AVC FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
