Sporting Clube Portugal's Cristiano Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sporting Clube Portugal getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Lourenço Sousa hit a great ball. Sporting Clube Portugal's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Abelheiros had won, even though Sporting Clube Portugal had held more of the ball.
