Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucian Lepus kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, SC Pomeda's goalkeeper Rafael Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Guerreiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Queiroga in the 6th minute of play forced Poupa F.C.'s goalkeeper Diogo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Poupa F.C.'s Miguel Guerreiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Furtado. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Rafael Furtado came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Poupa F.C.'s Miguel Guerreiro. But to his dismay, Miguel Guerreiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Miguel Guerreiros short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Rafael Furtado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rafael Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Miguel Guerreiro made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Furtado. SC Pomeda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Rafael Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Lepus in the 25th minute of the match. Manuel Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rafael Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Resende hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Poupa F.C. booed when SC Pomeda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Vilaverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Guerreiro got free with Rafael Furtado in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Poupa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Roriz came free, but Diogo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Roriz in the 43rd minute of the match. Rafael Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rafael Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Poupa F.C.'s Miguel Guerreiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vivaldo Roriz to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, SC Pomeda's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Guerreiro came free, but Rafael Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the SC Pomeda defense, Lucian Lepus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Furtado. The SC Pomeda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Furtado should have stopped the shot. Lucian Lepus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Pomeda's Amílcar Queiroga got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Poupa F.C.'s Lucian Lepus in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pomeda's goalie prevented a goal. Rafael Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucian Lepus went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. SC Pomeda's Rafael Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Lepus in the 77th minute of play. Miguel Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Lucian Lepus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poupa F.C.'s Francisco Lopes was substituted for João Amorim. 93 minutes into the match, Lucian Lepus notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of SC Pomeda's Rafael Furtado. Rafael Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Poupa F.C.'s Daniel Carvalho was substituted for Carlos Assunção. Poupa F.C.'s Lucian Lepus got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poupa F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
