Lucas Regueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vítor Pires went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Sporting C P players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Merlaes FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Raminhos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
