In the 5th match minute, Omakeka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Paulo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The coaching staff of Omakeka protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Orlando Amaral had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Omakeka! Manuel Avis shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Sixto Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Waselewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Dias having to interfere. Paulo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Cardoso in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th minute, SC Viseu's Cândido Cardoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cândido Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. Omakeka's Paulo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Cardoso in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Sixto Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Omakeka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omakeka's Sylwester Waselewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylwester Waselewicz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 唐瑜诚's late challenge caught a SC Viseu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 唐瑜诚 helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Viseu booed when Omakeka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. 唐瑜诚 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Omakeka's zone, Manuel Avis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Paiva came out of the goal and Manuel Avis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nuno Alves fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Omakeka's protests and gave Nuno Alves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Manuel Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Cardoso in the 71st minute of the match. Paulo Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Omakeka's Sylwester Waselewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Viseu's António Dias got control of the ball when Rogério Guerreiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Paulo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Correia in the 92nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Viseu had played much better football throughout.
