The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Henrique Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Mota in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avelino Nunes saved Futebol Clube do Porto from getting behind. When Igor Estrela came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Futebol Clube do Porto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Estrela couldn't finish the play. Lefteris Karaflidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Esparteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veríssimo Veríssimo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Avelino Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miguel FC. In the 24thth minute of the game Henrique Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futebol Clube do Porto's Avelino Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel FC's Henrique Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Futebol Clube do Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Viana to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes, Futebol Clube do Porto's Filipe Viana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lefteris Karaflidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Futebol Clube do Porto reached it. In the 45th minute Henrique Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avelino Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lefteris Karaflidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Esparteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Ilídio Tinoco hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tobias Fontoura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avelino Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Miguel FC's Lefteris Karaflidis got control of the ball when Albertino Esparteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albertino Esparteiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lefteris Karaflidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Madeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Albertino Esparteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Henrique Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Henrique Mota made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Futebol Clube do Porto's Avelino Nunes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Avelino Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amável Vilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lefteris Karaflidis made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Albertino Esparteiro sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Futebol Clube do Porto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Miguel FC.
