Spectators: 7271 (Terracing: 5455, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raul Severo got the match started through his kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Lucas Veiga put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Lobato a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rafael Carvalhal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SLB Vinha das Pedras's Jorge Dantas. 0-1. Jorge Dantas came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobato's Sebastião Mota. But to his dismay, Sebastião Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Gonçalo Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SLB Vinha das Pedras's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timóteo Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rogério Moniz came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the SLB Vinha das Pedras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Moniz couldn't finish the play. Lobato's Timóteo Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Anjos in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Gonçalo Anjos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timóteo Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Mário Rangel made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raul Severo however managed to control. Lúcio Esteves's late challenge caught a Lobato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. With an all-out effort, SLB Vinha das Pedras's Timóteo Mendonça threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gonçalo Anjos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute, Caetano Ruas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Raul Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rogério Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Timóteo Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Aleixo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Rogério Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timóteo Mendonça came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by SLB Vinha das Pedras's Rogério Moniz. But to his dismay, Rogério Moniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rogério Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonçalo Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timóteo Mendonça having to interfere. Timóteo Mendonça came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by SLB Vinha das Pedras's Rogério Moniz. But to his dismay, Rogério Moniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Lobato's zone, Gonçalo Anjos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timóteo Mendonça came out of the goal and Gonçalo Anjos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timóteo Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Lúcio Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Gonçalo Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SLB Vinha das Pedras's Rogério Moniz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonçalo Anjos took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timóteo Mendonça. Timóteo Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After having played for 75 minutes, Rogério Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SLB Vinha das Pedras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Anjos succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. Rogério Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timóteo Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Aleixo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timóteo Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusébio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SLB Vinha das Pedras had played much better football throughout.
