Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Sinagoga FC's José Correia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that José Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Lisboa was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. José Correia struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Gil Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinagoga FC. Domingos Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Lisboa having to interfere. The supporters of Sinagoga FC booed when Abraveia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game José Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abraveia's Gil Lisboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélder Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Domingos Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Correia in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Domingos Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th play minute Hélder Faria came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Melo. 1-1. If José Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sinagoga FC booed when Abraveia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Borges made a kick off. Eduardo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Correia in the 55th minute of play forced Abraveia's goalkeeper Gil Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sinagoga FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Diamantino Assis hit a great ball. After 58 minutes of play, Abraveia's Eduardo Borges made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Borges in the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Domingos Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinagoga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Gil Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Correia in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Eduardo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Carlos Faria fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinagoga FC's protests and gave Carlos Faria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, one of Sinagoga FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sinagoga FC. Gil Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Abraveia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sinagoga FC for a fine match.
