The Fresta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabrício Gusmão should have stopped the shot. When Sadri Tanbey came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the PortoBoavista F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadri Tanbey couldn't finish the play. Fabrício Gusmão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sadri Tanbey went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score.
