Gustavo Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC RMNP fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 11th minute, Nuno Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 played minutes FC RMNP got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Leite. After 14 minutes, Mariano Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC RMNP and the France FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC RMNP fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, France FC's Jorge Almeida got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexandre Faro. Alexandre Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Barbosa in the 18th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Nuno Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC RMNP's Alexandre Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC RMNP getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Daniel Leite hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Daniel Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Barbosa in the 29th minute of play. FC RMNP's Alexandre Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Barbosa in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Barbosa in the 34th minute of play forced FC RMNP's goalkeeper Alexandre Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Joaquim Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, France FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Cabral came free, but Alexandre Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, FC RMNP's André Resende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Resende in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alexandre Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Esteves during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Ricardo Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, France FC's Alexandre Gonçalves got control of the ball when André Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Reis in the 62nd minute of play forced FC RMNP's goalkeeper Alexandre Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Faro came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by France FC's Pedro Reis. But to his dismay, Pedro Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 70 minutes into the game, Daniel Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC RMNP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France FC the free kick. The supporters of France FC booed when FC RMNP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Reis in the 72nd minute of play forced FC RMNP's goalkeeper Alexandre Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, FC RMNP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Faro came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by France FC's Pedro Reis. But to his dismay, Pedro Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Alexandre Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Barbosa in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, FC RMNP's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Reis came free, but Alexandre Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Nuno Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alexandre Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France FC. France FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
