Miguelense's Nestor Galo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Miguelense from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Miguelense getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gustaw Jaworski hit a great ball. Caio Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, InterCoimbores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Idalécio Caneira to maneuver through the defense. InterCoimbores's Romão Amado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Lopes in the 37th minute of play. Juvenal Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Nestor Galo made a huge save. In the 46th minute Álvaro Varanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idalécio Caneira kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Jorge Antunes took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Romão Amado to make any attempt to save it. Paulo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Romão Amado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Galo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Lopes in the 75th minute of play. Nestor Galo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Idalécio Caneira went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jorge Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Romão Amado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Miguelense's Gustaw Jaworski got a free kick in the 85th minute. Alexandre Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. José Gomes hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Juvenal Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Galo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
