The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, São Bento Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Bolli came free, but Alfredo Moita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Moita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Vicente Estrada a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Vicente Estrada hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Armindo Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zarco Curado made the kick off in the second half. When Aparício Lameiras fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Bento Futebol Clube's protests and gave Aparício Lameiras a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Aparício Lameiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Diamantino Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a left leg Alfredo Moita saved São Bento Futebol Clube from getting behind. Jorge Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alfredo Moita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Hell Brothers's Vítor Paredes got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Diamantino Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Bento Futebol Clube's Alfredo Moita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When The Hell Brothers's Diamantino Neto in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alfredo Moita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Hell Brothers fully deserved thier win.
