Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) The throw-in from Altino Fonseca in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Porto.PT's Eusébio Tavares. 11 minutes into the match, SC Souto's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Assunção came free, but Lourenço Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Assunção blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lourenço Borba having to make a save. In the 17th minute Rogério Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Souto's Júlio Soares got a free kick in the 18th minute. Lourenço Borba came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Porto.PT's Jacinto Magalhães. But to his dismay, Jacinto Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Damião Salgueiro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Rogério Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lourenço Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Borba having to interfere. Damião Salgueiro charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damião Salgueiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damião Salgueiro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Jacinto Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Borba having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damião Salgueiro was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Rogério Assunção put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lourenço Borba. After having played for 56 minutes, Jacinto Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porto.PT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lourenço Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Júdice, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, SC Souto's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Assunção came free, but Lourenço Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Assunção in the 69th minute of play forced SC Souto's goalkeeper Lourenço Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Magalhães succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 73rd playminute. SC Souto's Lourenço Borba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save SC Souto from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in SC Souto's zone, Rogério Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lourenço Borba came out of the goal and Rogério Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jacinto Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porto.PT's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lourenço Borba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Assunção struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Lourenço Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto.PT. Jacinto Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lourenço Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Souto's Lourenço Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Assunção in the 97th minute of play. Simão Barros hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. When the match was over Porto.PT could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Souto throughout the match.
