VILAO F.C.'s Dimas Valido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save VILAO F.C. from getting a goal against them. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Nascimento couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Albernoa FC's Sérgio Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dimas Valido. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sebastião Sesimbra made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Albernoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Santarém. If Sebastião Sesimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Reis hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Sérgio Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Jarbas Álvares fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VILAO F.C.'s protests and gave Jarbas Álvares a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes VILAO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Álvares. After 93 minutes of play, Albernoa FC's Sérgio Nascimento made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimas Valido was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albernoa FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
