When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Leon Maiorga sped through Pelariga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Porfírio Taborda. Leon Maiorga kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 38thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Pelariga's keeper Porfírio Taborda was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Thanks to some nice moves Leon Maiorga could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Porfírio Taborda however easily saved by the left post. In the 45th minute, Rodrigo Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Vasco in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Porfírio Taborda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

A collision led to Pelariga getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Silvestre Baía hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Rui Anjos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Porfírio Taborda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Pelariga's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Vasco came free, but Porfírio Taborda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OS REIS DA BOLA made a substitution. Joaquim Nunes replaced Hugo Pires. After a rather tough play, Pelariga's Egídio Teixeira got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Madureira in the 76th minute of play forced OS REIS DA BOLA's goalkeeper Moises Pacifico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the OS REIS DA BOLA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
