The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bensafrim's zone, Albérico Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Sá came out of the goal and Albérico Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Jespersson in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Benicio Reyes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tobias Coelho. The goal made the score 6-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Isidoro Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Gueifão in the 57th minute of the match. Ludwig Jespersson took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Coelho. SC Bensafrim's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
