Spectators: 6647 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 0) Adolfo Lages started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When António Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Regadas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Gomes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Lages in the 14th minute of play forced Regadas FC's goalkeeper João Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dércio Sabrosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adérito Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Regadas FC defense, Adolfo Lages kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Vale. The Regadas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Vale should have stopped the shot. Urros's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martinho Baldaia in the 31st minute. The corner led Urros's Martinho Baldaia to fire away a dangerous shot which João Vale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Adérito Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Regadas FC's João Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adérito Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. João Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adérito Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Regadas FC's Alexandre Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Magalhães made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Tobias Peralta had to leave the field with a concussion. When Emílio Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Regadas FC's protests and gave Emílio Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Regadas FC's Emílio Pereira got a free kick in the 55th minute. Aldaír Eanes might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dércio Sabrosa came out of the goal and Alexandre Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Claudemiro Portela fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urros's protests and gave Claudemiro Portela a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Urros getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Claudemiro Portela hit a great ball. António Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexandre Magalhães took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dércio Sabrosa. Dércio Sabrosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. David Nascimento hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Regadas FC's goalkeeper João Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adérito Guerra. Alexandre Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Urros got a freekick which was hit by Matias Valério. After a defensive mix-up in Urros's zone, Alexandre Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dércio Sabrosa came out of the goal and Alexandre Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
