Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristóvão Estrela kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Gmariah Aluf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legoinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meceares the free kick. After a rather tough play, Legoinha's Gmariah Aluf got a free kick in the 4th minute. Rodolfo Lencastre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Monsanto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Paulo Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Ramos in the 17th minute of play forced Meceares's goalkeeper Rodolfo Lencastre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Ramos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Lencastre saved Meceares from getting behind. Rodolfo Lencastre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Jacinto Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legoinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jacinto Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meceares's Rodolfo Lencastre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacinto Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Legoinha's Armando Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Meceares's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Ramos came free, but Rodolfo Lencastre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Alexandre Monsanto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meceares and the Legoinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Meceares getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Alexandre Monsanto hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Adélio Anjos's late challenge caught a Legoinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adélio Anjos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Meceares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Brito to maneuver through the defense. Meceares's Rodolfo Lencastre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Almeida in the 56th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Legoinha's Jacinto Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Lencastre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Meceares's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Ramos came free, but Rodolfo Lencastre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes, Aquilino Estrada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meceares and the Legoinha players grew even worse after the yellow card.
