Oliveira Borges took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Caires. Gaspar Caires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, fc trofenses's José Pedroso got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Rui Malafaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 37 minutes, Oliveira Borges made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Tourer's Gaspar Caires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 played minutes fc trofenses got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Viegas. Cristiano Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gaspar Caires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliveira Borges to make the kick off. Pedro Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Saraiva in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, fc trofenses's goal looked a bit too open when Ilídio Carvalho came free, but Pedro Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, FC Tourer's goalkeeper Gaspar Caires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliveira Borges. 60 minutes into the game, José Pedroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc trofenses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Tourer the free kick. After 60 played minutes fc trofenses got a freekick which was hit by José Pedroso. Rui Malafaia struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Pedro Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tourer. fc trofenses's Pedro Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Saraiva in the 66th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Oliveira Borges reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gaspar Caires. The goal made the score 1-4. When Ilídio Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Tourer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilídio Carvalho couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Edgar Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliveira Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gaspar Caires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 90 in the game by Oliveira Borges from a close distance when the talented Gaspar Caires managed to make a qualified save. FC Tourer's players were relieved. The fc trofenses supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing fc trofenses would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
