When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Waldemar Jaworski took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Nuszkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldemar Jaworski hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Grzegorz Karpiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 62nd minute of the match.
