Luís Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, F.C Diful United's Luís Tavares got control of the ball when Alfredo Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th match minute, SC Carragosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Laureano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Carragosa's zone, Hugo Bentes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Mourão came out of the goal and Hugo Bentes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Tavares came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Carragosa's Plácido Peseiro. But to his dismay, Plácido Peseiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 minutes, Plácido Peseiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Carragosa and the F.C Diful United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Carragosa's Plácido Peseiro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 56 minutes of play, SC Carragosa's Plácido Peseiro made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Alfredo Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carragosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. F.C Diful United's Luís Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Mascarenhas in the 69th minute of play. José Laureano kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Alfredo Montenegro made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. F.C Diful United's Luís Tavares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliano Carneiro in the 81st minute of the match.
